*_ — (Per Phess AssooiATibit.) Wellington, December 22.' In the Supreme Court Mr Justice Edwards gave judgement in the case of Roskruge of Picton v. Michael Ryan of Pahiatua and P K.Watty of Wellington claiming £500 damages for f-audulentinisrepresentationby defendants of the takings of .the Terminus Hotel, Picton, sold by Ryan through Watty to the plaintiff and also for fraudulent misrepresentation of the furniture which was valued by Watty , 1 for Ryan. His Honor found that die ' letter which passed between, Watty \ and Ryan disclosed in unmistakable. t terms that there was a conspiracy to i commit fraud in the valuation of the " furniture and on tnis' head he gave I judgment for £66. As to the ruisres, presentation of the takings His Honor • >f held that the value was- fraudulently { ir misrepresented to the knowledge of I both defendants and he assessed the dam ges on this account at £200 with „. costs accordiug to scale.,,
