MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS.
JUEEN or'THE THAMES 0,31.0. (hMTED). rHE extraordinary general meeting of the ihareholdera was held at the Goyernor Bowen Hotel yesterday. There were ;hree-fourths of the shares represented in :erson and proxy. Mr E. K, Tyler was jhairman. It was proposed by'Mr JVWi Walker, and seconded by Mr 8. Turtle,' -That the directors of the company be impowered to sell and dispose of the iompany's mine to the Queen of-tbe May 3old Mining Company (Registered) upon ;he most advantageous terms obtainable, rad to execute any necessary deeds transferring the same. The motion was car•icd, unanimously. It was proposed by ilr John Goldsworthy, seconded by Mr T. D. Partridge,—That the company be round up voluntarily, and that Mr Warlell be appointed liquidator., Carried inanimously. It was proposed by Mr F. D. Partridge, seconded by Mr J. GoldsworthyThat Mr D. K. Gellion be appointed to inspect the liquidators' aclounts. Carried unanimously. A vote of ;hanks to the chairman terminated the proceedings.
