BOWLING.

TARANAKI CENTRE,

A meeting of the executive committee of the Taranaki Bowling Centre was held on Tuesday evening. Details iu connection with the forthcoming tournament were adopted. In connection with the Auckland Centre’s tour, it was decided to write suggesting slight alterations in tho proposed programme so. as to allow more time being spent by tho visitors in Taranaki. ■ It was decided that, in view of the fact that Hawera would have to travel on three occasions, on other than their half-holiday that the sub-committee be asked' to re-arrange fixtures in the southern division, so that matches Hawera v. Stratford and Hawera v. Avon to be played at Stratford be played on Wednesdays, and that the fixtures between Inglewood and Hawera stand as drawn. In conection with this competition, a wire was received from the president of the Eltbam Chib, and the hope was expressed that Eitham would participate in tho competition. It was decided that the secretary submit programme of tournament to Dominion Association for approval. Mr. J. D. Sole was appointed delegate to attend Dominion Conference, to bo held in January. It was decided not to include a sealed handicap in connection with tho tournament.
