MOTOR CAR OVERTURNS.
DRIVER SERIOUSLY INJURED. An accident occurred on the main road Bell Block this morning to a car being driven by Mr. William Eichstaedt, of York Road, Midhirst. Mr. Eiohstaedt was driving to New Plymouth with members of his family and while another car was being passed the car got out of control and overturned, pinning tho driven down. _ The car caught fire, but Mr. Eiohstaedt was removed before being affected by the flames. On admission to the hospital it was found he had several ribs on the right side fractured and penetrating tho lung and also was suffering ■ from face injuries. * His condition this afternoon was reported to ho serious. The other occupants of tho car escaped with minor injuries.
