TARATA DOG TRIALS.
CONCLUDING DAY. Tho Tarata dog trials were concluded on Friday afternoon in good weather before a large attendance of spectators. An outstanding feature of the t day’s trials was the work of Miss F. Lambert witli her dog Scott in the ladies’ class. MissjLambert gave an excepgood exhibition and secured only one point less than the possible. At tho conclusion of the day the judge (Mr. J. Scott) remarked that, taking the work right through, it had been of a better standard than ever before. The results of the events decided on Friday were: Class. lll.—Huntaway, between three sets of flags on zig-zag course, about 300 yards; time, 10 minutes.
