British soldiers are wildly indignant at the frequency of shooting occurrences after dark. There have been 13 such incidents in the past few days. Soldiers assert that if the shooting goes on they will shoot the first Egyptian seen under - suspicious circumstances. A gang of natives attempted to ambush a party of soldiers, but were arrested before they had an opportunity of firing. Lord Allenby placed all except the main roads out of bounds.—Aua.-N.Z.
