According to the French press exKing Nicholas of Montenegro is living in luxurious retirement at Neuilly. When informed of D’Annunzio’s threat to go to Montenegro he exclaimed: “Thank God there are still poets in the world-” D’Annunzio, when informed of Nicholas’ comment replied: “I will put that eagle back in his nest.”
