TROUBLE IN MANCHURIA. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. WASHINGTON, July 31. The Japanese Embassy has announced that Chinese soldiers attacked a Japanese military detachment at Kuancehenghu, in Manchuria, killing 16 soldier's and wounding 17 others. The Chinese Government apologised for the incident, and dismissed the commanders of the Chinese forces involved, reprimanding the Government of the province where the incident occurred.—Aus.-N.Z.
