ENTERTAINMENTS.
THE DANDIES. The reputation standing to tho credit of “Tho Dandies” is such that any theatrical company should feel satisfied to possess. It is. in every sense of the term, a reputation built on merit. Tor tlie past, four seasons various companies of “The Dandies” have appeared in New Plymouth, and in each instance have presented performances of a high standard. It is a commendable point that there is nothing in the entertainment to which the least exception can be taken by even tho most fastidious. Everything* is wholesome, and while the musical section of the programme maintains an even quality of excellence, the supporting comedy numbers are such that (hey enhance rather than detract from the value of the perform; anco as a whole. During the local •season a number of the latest musical comedy successes will be produced, the attractiveness of which are increased by the introduction of several novelties. “The Dandies” will present a change of programme on each night of the season. The plan is now open at Collier’s.
