THE PENSIONS BOARD.
THIS WEEK’S SITTING. pen PRESS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, Dec. 3. The War Pensions Board has concluded its weekly sitting. Fifty-four applications were dealt with, twenty from soldiers and thirty-four from dependents. Nine soldiers were granted pensions averaging £6O a year and eight granted allowances _ totalling £231; throe cases wore adjourned. Thirtythree dependents were granted pensions averaging £37, one was declined and five eases reviewed and the aggregate annual pensions increased by £137.
