A conference of delegates of the Scottish Miners’ Federation approved the principle of the establishment pf a national union of Scottish miners. The newspaper Baptist reports a decrease of two thousand, members in Baptist churches and nearly five thousand in Sunday school children.

A CARTRIDGE EXPLOSION. (Received April 30, 9.35 a.m.) PARIS, April 29. Ten children at Grenoble exploded a cartridge. All were seriously injured and one is clyirfg.
