[Flying Fox, formerly owned by the Duke of Westminster, won tho Derby, the Eclip.se Stakes, the St. Leger, the T/vo Thousand Guineas, and the Prince of Wales Stakes at Newmarket in 1899, and the New Stakes (Ascot) in 1898.] MASTERTON RACES. Per Preaa Association. MASTERTON, March 23. The Masterton Racing Club’s autumn meeting opened to-day in fine weather and with a good attendance. Results : Maiden Hack. —Mescal 1, Stevens 2, Sir Knox 3, Scratched; Foreshot. Makura, San Port, Convertor and Egypt. Mescal led all the way and won by two lengths. Time, Imm. 3| Se< March Handicap.—To Roti 1, Sunbonnet 2, Simplex 3. Scratched ; Leahora. Won by two lengths. Time, Irain. SJsec.
