Crosland, assistant editor and director of the newspaper Academy, is proceeding on a charge of criminal libel concerning the Hon. Henry Manners-Sutton. Extraordinary allegations were made of attempts by Lord Alfred Douglas, proprietor and editor of tho journal, and Crosland to borrow money to finance the Academy, refusal of which was followed by the accusations of immorality against Mr. Sutton.
