AUCKLAND, Sept. 16. The golf, tournament was continued to-day in fine weather. The second round of the professional championship was decided. F. G. Hood beat D. Hood & up ana one; and Clements beat Martin 5 up and 4. In the amateur championship, Colheck beat Nettleton 2up and 1 ; Bidwill heat Col. Tuson 2 up; Harold beat Holmes 1 up ; A. Duncan beat Sams 5 up and 4; Abbott beat Kennedy 5 up and 8; Burns beat Upton 6 up and 4; Forbes beat Reid 4 up and 3; Gillies beat M'Cormick.
In our report yesterday of tHe Nga 7 motu ladies' competition for Mrs. Weston's cup, the result of one match was omitted. Miss Deacon beat Miss Standish, 1 up at the nineteenth hole. .
