FOUND UNCONSCIOUS.
EXPERIENCES OF A SOLICITOR.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON. Sept. 15. Mr. Arthur Lynch, a solicitor in the employ of Messrs. S&errett and Wyhe, was picked up in an unconscious condition at about 10.30 o'clock last night at the foot of Hill Street, near the sate of the old Parliament House grounds. He was found to be suffering from some severe scalp wounds, and was removed to the hospital. Some blood was noticed on the footpath, and close by was fputtdcthe blood-stained wreck of a watch believed to have belonged to Mr. Lynoh. The hands had stopped at 10.20. Two.of Mr. Lynch's teeth were broken, arid bis- spectacles were also damaged. He regained consoiousness this morning and was- able [to leave the hospital this afternoon. The police have been so far unable to find out anything further.
