FINANCE AND GENERAL.
The Finance Committee reported that the overdraft at the Bank of New Zealand amounted to £8529 8s 3d. Accounts amounting to £215 18s 7d were passed for payment.
It was decided to give the insurance of the borough employees under the Employers' Liability Act to 'the South British Insurance Coy., provided the rate of that company was not higher than that of other institutions.^
