WORKS REPORT.
The Works Committee reported that the Buller Street gutters had been re- ! paired; the Carnegie Library site had been cleared; and repairs had been authorised on Cutfield Road. The committee asked that its action in. closing Powderham Street Bridge to heavy traffic should be confirmed; that the foreman should be authorised to repair Powderham Street Bridge at a cost not exceeding £20; that the" foreman should be authorised to form a 12ft. roadway in.Fillis Street,, west of Liardet Street, the earth to be deposited in the hollow in Fillis Street.
" Other minor matters were reported on. The above clauses were adopted.
