Hawera and Waverley played a drawn game — one goal each.

The New Plymouth Club having catered two teams for the senior comper tition all teams will be engaged weekly from to-morrow. Fixtures for this week are as follow : -r- ; Wednesday — Carrington Road v. Ha>wera at New Plymouth.

Thursday — Inglewood y. Stratford at Inglewood; New Plymouth A v. New Plymouth B. 1 The following will represent the New Plymouth Club on Thursday : — A team — Crawford, E. Avery, Nicoll, A. Ambury, Beal, E. Cutfield, Cathro, Reid, M. Avery, Fagan, R. Cutfield. B team — Price, R. Baker, Armstrong, Anderson, N. Mclsaae, R. Avery, Tennant, Muldoon, Callaghan, Seldon, Billing. The play to commence at 2 o'clock.

The following will play for Carrington Road against Hawera on the Racecourse to-morrow (Wednesday) — play commencing at 1.30 p.m. — A. McEwen> Bruce, Clapham,, W. McEwen, H. McEwen. Howell, Perham, Jordan, P. McEwen, Marett, Tribe. Emergencies — Back, Upton; forward, Cave.

Otago play Auckland on Saturday, July 13. Nothing definite has yet been received respecting the proposed OtagoTaranaki match.

T. Anderson, an ex-Addington playor, who has joined the legal firm of Standish and Kerr, hjis thrown fn his lot with the New Plymouth Club. Said" the Christchurch Press writer: "The Addington senior team are losing a very •serviceable forward in T. Anderson, who is leaving for New Plymouth at the end. of .^he .present month.- It will- be only natural for him to become one of the shining lights in some club in that northern. district, as he has been to the Addington Club."
