THE ABATTOIR.

The manager of the municipal abattoir reported that the work for the month had bfcen as follows: — Beasts slaughtered for local consumption — Cows 117, bullocks 72, calves 16, sheep 673, lambs 20, pigs 159, tripes cleaned 142.
