A social gathering took place .at Mr Harry Bishop's residence on April 30 to celebrate Ms birthday. . pvw /0 guests attended and cards^ draugrhts, Sancing and sin^ng passed an enjoyMiss Bafldeley (Waitara) and Mis® Ivy Bishop. Comic singing well represented by 1 Mr Somner (Bell Block); piano arid violin item by Miss Baddely amd Mr Tutohka. Mtisic for dancine was supplied by Miss Ba«iddeley, Mr Rountree amid Mr Txxichk&oi New Plyfrntoujtih. Mr E. King was M.Cf and kepi tnings 1«ooirS»g. Egw'o'rtt Road i« being— -I ant stJuck now for a name; some oall it wetaning and more »till name it m-ullock-inS but all ihe same it is not had / rftaflr to put in the bottom if the Road Board have good road metal to mit on the top. T expect fhat is what they iriten'd doing;.
