Messrs Wyllie, Stott & Co. report the prices realised at Urenui on Monday, October Bth : Calves 23s 6d, yearlings 45s 6d to 51s 6d, store cow 3 66s to 725, fat cows L 5 3s, springing heifers 64s to 72s 6d, springing cows 72s 6d to 82s 6d, pigs 2s 6d to 17s 6d. Waitara sale, Tuesday, October 9 : Calves 30s to 41s, yearlings 49s 6d to 55s 6d, 15 months heifers 695, 2f-year steers 955, store cows 61s to 68s 6d, springing hoifers 65s to 97s 6d, springing cows 75s to 110s, fat cows 94s 6d, bulls 20s to 645, hacks 50s to 67s 6d.
We also held a very satisfactory clearing sale, on the farm at the Mimi, on Thursday, on account of Mr Wade-Gery, there being a good attendance. First-class prices were realised for the household furniture and implements: Prices for stock were as follows: — Calves 395, yearlings 54s 6d, 2§-year steers 92s 6d, 18months to 2-j'ears 795, springers 80s to 102s 6d, store cows 695, fat cows 98s 9d; sheep, mixed, 14s 6d; hacks, £5 10s to £7; gig and harness, £21 10s.
