FATAL BOAT ACCIDENT AT i ONEHUNGJu Auckland, April 29. Boat accident occurred at Onehrjnga on Saturday, the occupants being Arthur Laurie and son, Henry Claude, aged 16 years, also Frederick Lanrie Bnd son, 15 years. The occupants it 18 believed aro drowned. FIRE IN WELLINGTON. Wbllikgtok, April 29. The insurance is said to be £1500 on the plant and feed, and £500 on tbe building. RISE IN KEROSENE. The local kerosene market;, despite the arrival of the barque Trinidad, from New York, last week, with nearly 10,000 case 3, is very firm. Holders are asking one shilling per gallon in bond for parcels, which is an advance of 50 j er cent, on the prices ruling three months ago. It is expected it will further increase in value at an early date. The local importers aaj paraffin wax is certain to respond in sympathy with tho kerosene, which will effect the price of candle 3of a better qnality. NEW GOLD COMPANY FORMED. . -Mr Thomas Russell has floated the Waitekauri Company, with a capital of £150,000, on the London market. The new company includes the Golden Cros3 and Komafa. adjoining properties at the Upper Thames,
