OoroitEß 11. — The Christy Mi strel Concert given in aid of the school priz jb oame off last evening, and drew a ruir lioueo, composed principally of children Considering the short time Miss Davidson baa had to prepare tho performers she deserves praise for too succor of the performance, as nearly every item was encored. The four cornormou, Messrs White, Hill, Davy, and Knyvett, took their pnrtß well, and in their respective got upß wero grand. They kept the audience amused throughout tho chair business Messrs Slcßonn and J. Knyvott leeeivod cncoreß for tho renderiug of " Nancy Loo" and "Nettie Moore " respectively, iind Mr F. Hendry as Johnson mado tin excellent intorlocutor, For the second pint Mosrih Uiil, Meßeau, Armilage, J. Knyvett, and G White succeeded in gaining encores, which wero all responded to Miss Alico Hook rendered " The Fisherman and his Child " is a pleasing manner, and was encored but did not rosponJ, The performance ended witii a farce entitled '• Doctor Doseum.' At iss Davidson kindly gave her services free, and wo understand that those taking part in the Miuifitrels havo decided to give this lady a benefit at Inglewood shortly.
