MOUNTAIN HOUSE.
TO THE EDITOR. Sin,—You*: correspondent 6igning himself " Indignant" can only have given one or two shillings subscription to tho hut, I because if he had the heart to have given more he would also have the tenderness to feel pleased !it the house being utilised for suffering humanity. Allow me to inform "Indignant" that if Mrs Collis or any mother lady or gentleman can demonstrate that a few days' 6tay on the mountain is beneficial to health, she will have done as good work as "Indignant " did when he subscribed to the houso. What you people of New Plymouth should do would be to at any cost get up a good temperance or other hotel, and have a good road to it, and then not only would people from other parts of tho colony come hero for a few. days, but you would get them from Eug land.—l am, &c, A New Cuinr.
