STOCK AND SHAREMARKET.
A parcel of New Zealand Loan and Mer- J oantile Agency shares have changed hands during the week at 68s. Bank shares are without change in price. New Zealand (old) shares are offered at £5 10s, with buyers a shade under. New issue are } quoted at 96s 6d. The only change in \ Insurance shares to note is a slight decline ( in New Zealands, which are offered at 655. Land Mortgage shares are offered at 17s. New Plymouth Gas shares have been sold at 93s — a few more loft at same figure. New Plymouth, November 29, 1889.
