VICKERS AND STEVENS' WEEKLY

REPORT. Messrs. Vickers & Stevens report a good attendance at their auction rooms last Saturday. They sold as under : Fowls 9d to Is Id each, geese 2s each, potatoes 78 per bag, sharps 7s per sack. They also sold a quantity of crockery, glsssware, furniture, and fancy goods at fair rates. On Wednesday at the Inglewood sale yards, owing to tho continued dry weather, the bidding was very slack, and dairy cows were in very bad sale, however, almost every lot was sold either at the hammer or after the sale, at the following prices : 15 to 18-month steers 255, yearlings 15s to 20s, calves 9s to 9s 6d, cows from £2 to £2 15s, old cows 15s to 30s, 100 fat 4 tooth wethers 8s 6d.
