Adelaide, August 9. Harrison's mills at Port Adelaide have been partially destroyed by fire. The premises were insured for £12,000, bat the estimated damage amounts to £80,000. The New Zealand Insurance Company have a line of £2,000, and the South British one of £1000. Sydney, August 9. It ha 3 been discovered that the recent interruptions on the cables were due to voloanio disturbances. The British football team beat Bathurßt by twenty points to ten. The men called out of one of the Illawarra Co.'s steamers have returned to work, it is believed in opposition to the Seamen's Union. Hobart, August 9. Mr. Judtioe Dodds has been appointed deputy Governor during the absence of the Governor in Melbourne.
