Majority for Harris, 80. FVTAL ACCTDENT TO A SAILOR. Greenwell, the sailor who fell from the masthead of a whaler at the Bay of Islands, has died in hospital. [per united press association.] WAKANUI ELECTION. AsHßimTOs, Jnne 17. The result of the Watanui Election poll was a majority of 85 in favor of Ivess. STEAMER WE3TPORT. Akaroa, June 17. The steamer Westport was pumped dry in a few hours. All holes were stopped with canvas, and a sail passed round her bow. She floated at 4 p.m. yesterday, and was expected to leave for Lyttelton at 4 this morning.
