Melbourne, June 16. Concluding course for Australian Cup was run to-day, and was won by Proserpine. Great uncertainty prevails as to the final issue of the present political crisis. Ptumors of a coalition are being increasingly circulated, but at the same time it is in well-informed quarters deemed possible that a compromise ■will be effected between the Government and Mr. Francis. Sydney, June 16. New Zealand oats declined to 8s 9d, and maize to 5s 3d. Sugar Co.'s No. 1 prices per ton, £35. Brisbane, June 16. The steamship Eanelagh, which went ashore at King's Keef, near Cardwell, on the 12th May, arrived in harbor to-day. A marine enquiry into the cause of the wreck will be held on Monday next.
