fPER UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.] During the passage of the steamer Macgregor from Waitara, Captain Amodeo received serious injuries. He was at the wheel, and while the steersman was assisting the crew to furl sail, a heavy sea struck the vessel, throwing the Captain over the wheel on to the rail, which prevented him from being washed overboard.
