Rex Beach'followed the murder very close.ly, and then wrote a novel solving tse mystery after his own theory. This has been made into, a picture, and will be screened at Temuka ,to-night. In the picture version, Louise Dresser plays the part of the “Goose Woman,” giving a moving portrayal of the opera singer who Ipses her voice and slips down the stream otf intemperance to be regenerated oniy .after the murder is perpetrated. Supporting Louise Dreseer in the title role is Jack Pickfiord, Enid Bennett, and other popular actors. Tlie supporting pictures, include ,an .interesting New& reel and a,.good Comedy.
