SUDDEN DEATH
AT GERALDINE. The town of Geraldine was plunged into gloom yesterday morning, by the news that Mrs H. Purchas, wife of the Rev. Harold Purchas, vicar of St. Mary’s, Geraldine, had passed away in the early hours of the morning. The late Mrs Purchas has been in indifferent health for some time, but had been out and' about the town up to thd last, and the news of her death came as a surprise as well as a shock to her numerous circle of friends, The greatest sympathy is felt by all for Mr Purchas in his sad bereavement.
