ORARI BRIDGE SCHOOL.
A very pleasant and enjoyable evening was spent at Orari Bridge on Friday last, when the spinsters of that place entertained their friends at a Plain and Fancy Dress Ball. in spite of the very rough night there was a crowded hall, and all present spent a very enjoyable evening. Every credit is due to the spinsters for the way in which everything was carried out and they are to be congratulated on having elected such an’ energetic secretary, this position being tilled by Miss iScully. Those present in fancy dress were as follows —Miss Scully, ’’ Naval Miss K. Scully. “ Gipsy’’’; Miss Al. Ford, “ Milkmaid T ; Miss A. Ford. ” Brittauia ” ; Miss Gould, ” Red Cross Nurse ” : Aiiss O’Neill*, Pack of Cards ” ; Aiiss A. Aletcalf, ” Bed. White, and Blue ” ; Alias Sunnuway. ” Snow Queen ” ; Mrs d. Irvine. ” Forgot-mc-not ” ; Mrs G. McDonald. ” Slimmer ” ; Airs Allison. ”■ Summer ” ; Mr R. Gould “ Stockman ; Messrs F. Hammond and R. Riches. ” Bookmakers ’. ; Air W. Gwilding, "Pirate King”;' Mr A. Fergusson. " David Garrick ” ; .Mr G. (lainond, " Captain Flint ” Air I). iMcDouald. " Scotchman.’' During the evening songs were rendered by, Mr Qunirl and slepdances by Mr Fitzgerald added to the evening s enjoyment.
