We, have received from the author a copy of faddy Murphy’s Annual, which may be described as a second edition of Paddy Murphy’s Budget, published some years ago. It is needless to commend this amusing and highly entertaining publication, as the . author’s works are well known, !fbfl-poet says that 1 “ A Httle nonsense now and then : Is relished by the wisest men.” In this publication they will find “ a little nonsense” mixed up with good sense, quaint humor, and fun, in a manner that must commend itself to all classes of readers. We hate seen it classed as the Punch of New Zealand. There is as much difference between itself and Pqqph as there is between chalk aqd cheese.
