Rec. 9.45 p.m. Rugby, Mar. 20. Mr. Cordell Hull said at Washington to-day that his conversations with Mr. Anthony Eden had been mutually helpful and encouraging. He added that the discussions had been along the lines of general politics and doctrines, rather than concrete matters, to determine how nearly alike the Anglo-American Governments were thinking in general principles applicable to the present and prospective international situation.
