U.S. National Income
Rec. 7.10 p.m. New York, March 20. The Secretary of Commerce, Mr. Jesse Jones, reported to-day that the national income in 1942 reached the record high level of 119,800,000,000 dollars and pr«dicted a total of 140,000,000,000 dollars in 1943. The cost of living has risen 22% per cent. since August, 1939.
