WAITOITOI DANCE

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION. The dance given by Mr. and Mrs. EW. Lee in the Waitotara hall on Monday night in honour of their daughter Nancy's 18th bivthday was very successful. The hall looked attractive with its decorations of coloured streamers, grenery and vases of dalilias. Ihe Palais de Dnnse Orchestra played the dance music, extoas being played by Mrs. Blackie and Miss Watson. Novelty dances were won as follows: Monte Carlo dances, Miss Thomas and partnev. Miss Ijee and Mr. T. Wilson; statue waltzes, Mr .anrl Mrs. Day (New Ply- ! mouth) and Miss Thomas and partner. [Tlie toast of Miss Nancy was proposed ; by Mr. Forsyth. Songs by Misses Bett.y | Watson and Grace Lee and Messrs. I. D. ! Blackie, S. Forsyth and R. Tueker were enjoyed.
