SERIOUS CHARGE

REMAND AT HAWERA COURT. ACCUSED’S NAME SUPPRESSED. Charged with incest, a resident of the Hawera district was remanded till November 15 when he appeared at the Hawera Court yesterday. Mr. E. Dixon, J.P., was on the bench. Detective A. Jervey, New Plymouth, applied for the remand to next Friday at Hawera, and his application for the suppression of the man's name was granted.
