NEW PLYMOUTH BEATS MANAIA.
A team’ from the Manaia St. Patrick’s Catholic Tennis Club paid a visit to the New Plymouth St. Joseph’s Club during the week-end, and a good afternoon’s sport was enjoyed. Some of the games were very evenly contested, the scores not always indicating the trend of play. New Plymouth won by 13 sets (119 games) to 11 sets (115 games).
