FEET DEEP IN HAIL
CITY STREETS AT BRISBANE. BUSINESS PREMISES FLOODED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. • Brisbane, Oct. 16. A terrific hailstorm caused heavy damage in the western and southern suburbs of Brisbane last evening. Business premises and houses were flooded, hundreds of windows were broken and traffic was held up. Council workmen had to clear the footpaths of hail, which was piled several feet deep.
