ASSAULT ON WIFE
STRUCK WITH PIECE OF GASPIPE.
MAN WHO "DESERVED GAOL.”

For aggravated assault on his wife, whom he struck on the head with a piece of gaspipe, Bert Morrow was ordered to come up for sentence within two years, the magistrate remarking that he deserved gaol but as the wife was dependent on him for maintenance a minor sentence was passed.
