£170,000 CONTRACT
SUCCESS OF BRITISH TENDERER. ENGINEERING WORK IN PERSIA. British Official Wireless. Rec. 5.0 p.m. Rugby, Jan. 3. A contract to the value of £169,720 for two swing bridges and lock and sluice gates for the £1,000,000 Kut barrage on the River Tigris has been secured by Ransomes and Rapier of London and Norwich, who recently secured the contract for the lock and sluice gates for the Assiut dam.
