SAVING IN INTEREST
CONVERSION LOAN FOR LONDON. DECISION OF COUNTY COUNCIL. British Official Wireless. Rec. 5.5 p.m. Rugby, Jan. 3. At a special meeting the London County Council agreed to an issue of £10,000,000 of stock at 2f per cent, to replace £10,000,000 of 3J per cent, stock, which it is estimated will save the council £68,000 a year during the next 35 years.
