.CUSTOMS DEPARTMENT RETURNS. EXCISE DUTY SOLE EXCEPTION. \ .1 ■ An increase in all returns except those for excise duty is disclosed in the November collections by the Customs Department at N6w Plymouth. Customs show a 100 per cent, increase, while petrol and sales taxes are larger than those collected for the same period of last year. Excise duty continues to show a decrease and last month was £177 17s 9d less than that collected the previous year. Details are:— CUSTOMS.
