Miss O. Hickey, Normanby, Is the guest of Miss A. Dick. Mrs. Cargo, Auckland, is the guest of her daughter, Mrs. J. Dunn. Mias K. Long returned early in the week from a short holiday at Christchurch. Among the Manaia ladies present at the Hawera Croquet Club’s day were Mesdames P. Instone, E. Vine and A. H. Yarrow. Mrs. Shearer, Bay of Plenty, is visiting her mother, Mrs. J. Silvester, who has been seriously ill for some time. Mrs. Shearer is the’ guest of her sister, Mrs. J. Borrie.
