DRAFT TREATY EXAMINED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Tokio, Aug. 31. Government departments to-day commenced an examination of the draft trade treaty between Japan and Australia forwarded by Mr. Murai, ConsulGeneral in Australia. This follows the recent mission of the Hon. J. G. Latham to Japan.
