CALEDONIAN AFFAIRS

BALANCE-SHEET OF SPORTS. The balance-sheet of the provincial association’s sports meeting at Pukekura Park in January was considered and passed to the Taranaki association at the New Plymouth Caledonian Society’s meeting last night. The balance-sheet shows a debit balance of £3O 13s 9d.. It was decided that seven Inglesides should be arranged if possible. After some discussion of country Inglesides it was decided that the dates should be fixed by a general meeting of the society before each entertainment. Mr. T. N. Blackball, sen., was elected a new member of the society. To fill a position recently vacated on the committee by Mrs. Black, Miss I. Gilbert was unanimously elected. Mr. R. W. D. Robertson presided at the meeting.
