RAGWORT IN TARANAKI
.DUAL FARMING AS REMEDY. No representations had yet been made to him on the subject of ragwort in Taranaki, the Minister of Lands, the Hon. E. A. Ransom, said last night. It was actually the business of the Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Ransom said, bet as Minister of Lands he also keenly interested in the pest and its eradication. It constituted a very serious problem in the King Country, much more so than in Taranaki. The question of dual farming to cope with the problem generally was under review.
