METHODIST ANNIVERSARY

FITZROY SUNDAY SCHOOL TEA. The annual tea for the children of the Fitzroy. Methodist Sunday school took place on Monday and was followed by a children’s concert. Several solos and recitations were given by the children and the anniversary hymns were sung. During, the reading the children and teachers showed their appreciation of Mr. E. Holden’s work in training the children for their anniversary for over 15 years. Having now retired, he was presented with an upholstered easy chair. Miss Holden received a fountain pen and pencil. For a number of years Miss Holden lias been pianist for the anniversaries. The superintendent of the school made the presentations and Mr. Holden replied.
