OAONUI DISTRICT NEWS

WINNERS OF EUCHRE PRIZES. A euchre party and dance was held at Oaonui on Friday night in aid. of the Anglican Church funds. The prizewinners were Mr. F. Brewer 1, Mr. J. Eustace 2; Mrs. R. Schultz 1, Miss Coombes 2 (after re-playing with Mrs. S. E. Pirimona). Miss E. Gilhooly and Messrs. L. A. Bosworth and S. E. Pirimona supplied the dance music. Both the Arawhata Road branch and the Oaonui main dairy factories have commenced making cheese and are receiving milk daily. Mr. H. Ibbotson is in the New Plymouth public hospital. The Oaonui basketball team spent an enjoyable day at New Plymouth on Saturday, winning three games of five played.
